Dear Supporters,

Good News! We are very excited to announce the Capital of New York (CNYS) Black Expo is in progress and scheduled to take place November 19, 2022. Last year we met our financial goal thanks to the kindness and generosity of our 2021 Title Sponsor, the State Employees Federal Union (SEFCU), and other Capital Area Contributing Sponsors. As we take the 2022 CNYS Black Expo to higher heights, we are asking for your support.
The CNYS Black Expo is an annual showcase and exhibition of businesses whom support and operate within underserved communities of the Capital Region. Our mission has always been to promote health, wellness, and opportunities for communities of Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC).
This year will mark the fourth year of the Expo, which was the dream and vision of Tatiana Cunningham. Tatiana saw a need and began to mobilize friends, community leaders, and businesses to make this dream a reality. In just three short years, the Expo, held at the Capital Center, has grown to boast over 25,000 attendees and, 600 vendors since 2018, and topped off with sold-out Gala’s to close the event.
Each year, the Expo features Economic, Health, Education, and Enrichment Programs in our Capital Region. This year’s theme for the Expo will focus on Community Collaboration, Mental Health, and Wellness. An event like this, that targets multiple facets of livability, is just the encouragement we ALL need to keep our community healthy.
By giving to the CNYS Black Expo, you will be able to help us promote overall wellness, serve members of our BIPOC community, and collectively work together with all capital area citizens and organizations toward common goals.
At the event, you will receive a QR code that will link to sponsorship opportunities, each package provides different levels of promotion. You will also have a chance to participate in our exclusive silent auction all donations will support CNYS BLACK EXPO Scholarship Gala.
We are looking forward to seeing you there and sharing our Special Announcements.

     Thanks,

     CNYS Black Expo Team
